The Stonequist project is currently under construction and consists of interior renovations and exterior improvements to an existing 9-story, 176-unit affordable housing apartment building. This project is the while occupied. This project is currently underway and is being completed on a floor-by-floor basis. The renovations include removing all existing materials down to studs & framing with existing apartment demising wall framing to remain along with the corridor walls, stair towers, and elevator shaft. All new finishes are being applied in the apartments, including new sheetrock, flooring, cabinetry plumbing fixtures, and life safety systems. The ground floor renovation includes renovating the community spaces and Saratoga Springs Housing Authority offices and installing a new onsite commercial kitchen. Façade improvements include new 1st floor storefronts, masonry restoration, and a new main ground floor entrance. Currently, two of the nine floors have been re-occupied by residents.
