The project consists of level 3 alterations of an existing 12-story affordable housing apartment building of type 1 construction. The gut rehabilitation project includes new apartment layouts, new stretcher-compliant elevators, façade modifications, and site improvements. All units and common areas will receive new plumbing, HVAC electrical, and finish systems. The project includes several green initiatives, including a building-wide geothermal heat pump system. Façade improvements include new window systems, storefronts, masonry restoration, and architectural cladding systems. The site will be modified to soften the original hardscape structures and add new asphalt parking areas and a playground.
